A contractor that picks up.
SNB Contractors is a working crew, not a call center with a subcontractor list. Here's how we run a job and what our registration actually covers.
Small crew, wide scope
Most remodeling headaches come from coordination, not craftsmanship. Four trades, three schedules, and nobody who will own the whole thing. We built SNB the other way around: one crew that handles the framing, the plumbing, the electrical, the tile, and the trim, with one person you call when you have a question.
That scope is why the gallery jumps from a mint-green bathroom gut to a driveway pour to an office corridor. It's the same crew. A rotted fascia board and a failing firebox are the same problem — water got somewhere it shouldn't have, and somebody put the finish back over it instead of fixing the cause.
We run out of Blackwood in Camden County and work across New Jersey, residential and commercial, on jobs from a single window to a full-floor gut. Estimates are free inside a 35-mile radius; past that we'll tell you what the drive does to the number before you commit. If a job isn't a fit for us, we say so on the walkthrough instead of quoting high and hoping you go away.
How a job runs
What "registered & insured" means in New Jersey
A lot of contractor sites say "licensed and insured" without explaining it. In New Jersey, for home improvement work, the word is actually registered — and here's what that gets you.
Registered, not just insured
Home improvement contractors in New Jersey register with the Division of Consumer Affairs, and that registration has to appear on advertising, estimates, and contracts. Ours is #0450415077. Ask for it in writing before you hire us — or anybody else — and verify it yourself.
Liability coverage
Registration requires commercial general liability coverage on file with the state. Ask any contractor for a current certificate of insurance naming you or your property — a real one comes straight from the agent, not as a photo on a phone.
In writing, over $500
New Jersey requires a written contract for home improvement work over $500, with the scope, price, and start and finish dates in it. You also get three days to cancel after you receive your copy. We follow that on every job, small ones included.

What you can expect while we're there
Your house stays livable
Floors covered, doorways sealed off on dusty work, and the debris out at the end of the day instead of piling up in the driveway all week.
You know who's coming
Same crew, day to day. You won't meet a new set of faces every morning wondering who to ask about the change you requested yesterday.
Surprises get flagged same-day
Open a wall in a 1958 ranch and you find things. When we do, you get a call and a number that day — before we cover it back up.
Permits pulled, not skipped
If the township requires a permit and inspection, we pull it. Unpermitted work becomes your problem at resale, not ours.
Photos of the hidden work
We document what goes behind the drywall and under the tile so you can see the waterproofing and framing after it's covered.
A real punch list
Final walkthrough with a pad. You point, we write it down, we come back and finish it. Final payment comes after that, not before.
